Today Apache remains the industry leader in rigid, polyisocyanurate foam insulation technology and innovation. We successfully commercialized the first urethane roof insulation in the mid-1960’s and obtained the first factory mutual approval for urethane composite roof insulation shortly thereafter. In 1982, Apache introduced its WhiteLine Roof Insulation Products, another industry first. In 1993, we completely eliminated CFC’s from polyiso products, while maintaining insulation values and physical properties.
